What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maximize sales and profit growth within an assigned territory by managing sales and operations
- Develop and execute tailored Business Plans for each customer to achieve sales budgets
- Establish and maintain a distribution network for the employer's products in the territory
- Prospect new accounts and build long-term relationships with distributors
- Attend and sell at all regional and national industry shows as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least three years of direct sales experience
- Experience in sales, account management, and new business development
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline preferred; education may be substituted with 8 years of related experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout the specified territory

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of floor coverings is a plus
- Business-to-business sales knowledge and techniques
- Overall analysis skills for market research and sales forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
