      THE TEAM

      The mission of the Distribution Department is to provide seamless inbound and outbound services facilitating an agile distribution network.

      THE OPPORTUNITY

      As a member of the Distribution department, you will be part of the team responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of our product to our stores and customers. As a Seasonal Team Lead, you will support in ensuring seamless distribution activities to provide the highest possible service to all of Aritzia’s customers.       THE ROLE

      As a Team Lead, you will:

      • Facilitate and help drive the inbound operations within the 4 walls of the Distribution Centre (think stock receiving, sorting, stacking, transporting)
      • Facilitate and help drive the outbound operations within the 4 walls of the Distribution Centre (think picking, packing, stock shipping to retail stores and eCommerce customers)
      • Foster inventory accuracy and maximize operational efficiency through utilization of our distribution space (think ticketing, counting, recording, troubleshooting)
      • Follow and maintain health and safety measures, including WCBC regulations and COVID-19 safety practices

      THE HOURS

      As a Team Lead, you should be comfortable with the following:

      • This is a full-time role must be available 32 - 40 hours a week, and may involve regular evening and/or weekend shifts
      • During our All Hands on Deck (August 21st - September 10th) and peak sales event periods, all Distribution Centre Associates are required to increase their availability to 40 hours per week and you may work six days/week
      • No extended time off requests will be approved over All Hands on Deck and peak sales events

      The Team Lead has:

      • An interest and willingness to learn about people leadership
      • An appetite to learn about how to lead a functional area of a Distribution Centre

      • The ability to hold yourself accountable to reach your full potential

      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and to perform repetitive tasks and movements
      • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to an eight (8) hour shift
      • Work in an environment reliant on visual and auditory safety cues
