      DUTIES: Under direct, but not constant supervision, to perform document processing work in accordance with Company practices and procedures. Processing documents of a moderately complex nature, requiring the exercise of some independent judgment with respect to maintaining records; supporting project teams, and occasional to frequent trips to the field. In this connection to perform details of work, such as: Administer and comply with document control procedures for various projects and department documents, both confidential and public record. Learn and use Ameren’s document management systems. Set up document control files and records. Maintain detailed electronic and manual files related to projects. Reproduce, deliver and retrieve documents as necessary and provide document support while in the field. Data entry for GIS/Mapping requests. Scan paper copies for electronic document storage. Print and distribute bid and construction packages. Utilize a PC and the LAN to access drawing records and engineering documents.

      RESPONSIBILITES: Primarily located in the St. Louis area with occasional travel required to remote plants and construction sites. Operate in other software applications as required; to include Power Plant, TRIS, API and EMPRV, Vault Professional and any successive systems. Maintain good communication, organization, and human relations skills and the ability to work in team environment. Ability to adapt to changes in systems applications and procedures. Retain as confidential, information obtained in connection with departmental work.

      CONTACTS: Contact with employees in various departments of the Company in connection with duties including personal and telephone contacts with outside engineering firms and others as required.

      HAZARDS: Hazards involved in use of motor vehicles with work-related travel and job hazards associated with power plant and construction sites.

      QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or the equivalent. Satisfactory completion (grade of at least a "C") of nine (9) credit hours of study leading towards an associate degree or higher at an accredited university, college, or junior college. Two (2) years of Ameren clerical experience or three (3) years of experience outside the Company in a clerical-related position. Must earn recommended score on the EEI Data Entry Test and the Clerical Aptitude Battery. (BCAB). Proficiency in Microsoft Word required. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
