      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct coding reviews to verify the accuracy of DRG assignment and reimbursement
      - Utilize expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines and clinical criteria documentation requirements
      - Perform clinical coding reviews to ensure accuracy of medical coding and billing
      - Write clear and concise rationales supporting audit findings
      - Utilize proprietary workflow systems and encoder tools efficiently and accurately

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Unrestricted RN (registered nurse) license
      - CCS/CIC certification or obtain within 6 months of hire
      - 3+ years of MS DRG/APR DRG coding experience in a hospital environment
      - Expert knowledge of ICD-10 Official Coding Guidelines and DRG reimbursement methodologies
      - Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with DRG audits and readmission reviews
      - Experience with DRG encoder tools (ex. 3M)
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
      - Healthcare claims experience
      - Managed care experience
