      Duty Station Manager

      Challanges you will work on

      As a representative of SAS, you will be visible and accessible. It is your responsibility to supervise and build a strong relationship with the ground handling agents and/or sub-contractors to ensure that their performance meets the contractual requirements and the standard of SAS. You shall also assist the sub-contractors, regulatory inspectors, and the Airline’s customers, working hard to find win-win, pragmatic solutions.

      As a Duty Station Manager you will:

      • Ensure a safe and punctual operation at all Spanish & Portuguese airports.
      • Closely monitor the daily operations, including extra, ad-hoc, and charter flights
      • Act as an Emergency Response Coordinator.
      • Oversee compliance with SAS Performance standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
      • Represent the Station Manager in Spain & Portugal in their absence and co-ordinate all airport-related issues, including representing them in meetings concerning airport activities. In case of deviations, you shall analyse, initiate, and implement corrective actions as well as follow up effectiveness together with the handling agents and sub-contractors concerned.

      To be successful we believe you should have:

      • Extensive experience in Airport Operations and desire to continue learning and building your career.
      • Demonstrate suitable knowledge of SMS and quality systems.
      • Broad knowledge of the applicable requirements, regulations, laws, and agreements.
      • Knowledge of IATA SGHA and SLAs.
      • Microsoft Office Package.
      • Knowledge of Altea DCS.
      • Key knowledge of financial follow-up and budget.
      • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
      • Fluent in Spanish both spoken and written

      Other of Importance

      This is a challenging and rewarding role which requires flexibility as we operate a work schedule which includes weekends and Bank Holiday patterns. Travel, often within short notice, may occur in this role. In return, we offer an exciting, fast-paced opportunity for someone who is looking for something other than the 9 to 5.

      • Location: You will be based in Alicante (ALC), Spain. However, you may be required to work at other offices of the company, home office or other organizations within the performance of your duties
      • Type of service: Full Time, 100%
      • The position is permanent and starts with a 6 month probation period
      • Start date: As soon as possible
      • Deadline for application: April 21st.
      • Right to work: To be eligable for this position you need a EU Work- Permit. This should be clearly stated on your CV.
