Job Description

- Deliver effective Varibar telesales presentations.
- Occasionally provide in-person account visits/consultations when necessary and approved by manager.
- Expand sales in assigned territories through up-selling existing customers not using the full Varibar portfolio and to bring on new customers.
- Become expert in the Varibar product line in order to have detailed product discussions with customers about the Varibar franchise and/or specific Varibar products.
- Establish relationships with appropriate Bracco Diagnostics Sales teams to share account level information and securing their assistance, when necessary, to gain new Varibar customers.
- Provide market intelligence/trends to Oral Imaging marketing team.
- Protect customer base through customer retention activities.
- Document in SalesForce.com all customer contacts to ensure that this information is archived and can be reviewed by others in the Bracco Diagnostic Inc organization.
- As needed, provide support at national and regional scientific meetings (e.g. Society of Abdominal Radiology or American Speech Language Hearing Association).
- As needed provide product training to internal Bracco Diagnostic Inc audiences.
- Be an effective team member by providing support to other members of the Varibar Sales and Marketing team.
- Be an effective team member through generation of potential business improvement ideas.
- Ad hoc special projects to support the Bracco Diagnostics Inc. business.

- College degree and/or 2 – 3 years telemarketing/telesales/inside sales or equivalent experience preferred.
- Speech Language Pathologist with experience in Dysphagia is preferred.
- Three to five years selling experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively and positively interact via the telephone
- Strong comfort level in making cold calls to potential customers

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for growing sales of the Varibar franchise. Selling activities include, but are not limited to call planning, account profiling, telesales presentations and the reporting of designated activity through SalesForce.com, or other Bracco Diagnostics Inc. designated customer relationship management (CRM) system.
