Provides comprehensive confidential assessment, short term support, referral and follow-up emotional, behavioral, and coaching support services for Senate employees and their immediate family members addressing a wide variety of employee problems/crises within a diverse population. Provides psychological safety and trauma informed care in an emergency and thereafter – potentially outside of normal business hours. Interact professionally with others regarding sensitive and confidential issues with a high level of effective communication skills, judgement and integrity. Provides consultative services to managers and conducts organizational needs analysis, potentially resulting in developing and facilitating group interventions and workshops. Maintains confidentiality and security of reporting and records in accordance with established EAP standards, applicable statutes and Senate policies. Other duties as assigned.
