Our Global Database Services centres compile annual survey reports on pay, benefit and employment practices of local and multinational companies, across all major industry sectors. Our surveys represent more than 27,000 organizations that provide data on more than eight million incumbents worldwide. Working with our extensive global network of consulting offices, our regional survey experts ensure that every country's surveys reflect its unique local governing laws and cultural practices. Our rigorous data processes and the depth of our databases enable us to deliver high-quality, robust data and consistent reporting practices.

Explore an opportunity. In addition to compensation surveys, we publish reference materials that help HR practitioners attract, retain and reward exceptional employees. Other services include industry surveys, custom surveys, market pricing and reports on international benefits, policies and practices. Our web-based technology provides access to global market data simply and quickly, allowing clients to conduct their own custom analyses - around the clock and around the world.

Love your work. We require several individuals with an unerring attention to detail to assist us from early May to the end of August in our quest to provide our clients with accurate compensation data for a number of surveys.

There are several Canada mainline and club surveys that are conducted over the course of the year, with most work focused primarily between late spring and early fall. These surveys collect various components of employee compensation and total pay. Our task is to encourage organizations to participate in our surveys, clean and analyze the data, and prepare and market survey reports. A one week training course is provided.

As an Intern, your performance objectives will be:

      • Preliminary audit of data submissions from clients with the oversight of senior Product Leaders
      • Analyze submissions and verify data through client follow-ups (e-mail/telephone)
      • Verify data submission components such as long term incentive pay (e.g. do some research through online sources such as Sedar, Edgar, ROB, TSE, etc.)
      • Run system validation reports and summaries as required
      • Adhere to the corporate protocol for handling of sensitive and confidential information
      • Other tasks (e.g. electronic filing, small marketing efforts, mailing, proof-reading, etc.)

      Qualifications

      About you:

      • In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree or diploma in business, commerce, economics, general arts or any other major with significant quantitative course work, and minimum GPA of 3.0
      • Preferred applications from candidates that plan to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2024 through December 2025 – as this role has potential to become a full-time role in 2025
      • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
      • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Online Browsers and Microsoft Teams
      • Some familiarity with Outlook, Skype for Business
      • Fully bilingual (French/English) useful but not mandatory
      • Fast learner, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
      • Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
