What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to promote personal growth and resiliency in clients
- Offer training and consultation services to childcare providers and families based on community needs
- Conduct a minimum of 200 on-site visits annually to childcare programs to provide services
- Link childcare and mental health fields through consultation and training to address social/emotional challenges
- Maintain appropriate documentation and develop the Chaddock Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant Project

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Infant Mental Health, or related Human Services field
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of applicable supervised direct service via practicum, internship, or employment
- Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional status in relevant programs
- Experience with electronic health records and automated documentation systems
- Strong skills in written and oral communication, problem-solving, and customer service

- Familiarity with community geographical awareness and agency resources
- Knowledge of inpatient treatment resources and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Experience in consultation and networking within the childcare and mental health fields
- Skills in interviewing, assessment, and counseling
