Overview
A wonderful family in the Coconut Grove area of Miami is seeking a local nighttime newborn care specialist for their second child, due February 26th. It's possible baby will come a few weeks early, as that's what happened with their first child. The schedule will be 12-hour shifts Monday through Sunday for 10-12 weeks, with the flexibility to provide a night off intermittently if the candidate needs it. The The duties will include care and safety of the child, instilling sleep and feeding schedules, and serving as a knowledgeable confident presence while supporting mom in her childcare philosophies and preferences. The parents are confident and involved, so this NCS will need to be comfortable deferring to their existing setup and should be able to jump in and out of family time with discretion. The ideal candidate would have experience in a nursing or medical-adjacent position and should be easy going and capable. The family has a small dog, so the NCS must be comfortable working around it.
