- Oversee daily site and channel operations : Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Marketing, IT Teams, and external partners to ensure smooth, efficient eCommerce operations, optimizing workflows and addressing technical challenges.
- Manage product content and categories: Work with the Product Information Management (PIM) System to ensure product data and categories are optimized for online sales, continually enhancing the digital catalog.
- Collaborate with IT on solutions: Assist in implementing custom or existing Infor (ERP) extensions for seamless eCommerce integration, aligning technical capabilities with business needs.
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends: Monitor and apply the latest industry trends and innovations to keep the company’s eCommerce presence modern, competitive, and scalable.
- Drive traffic, customer acquisition, and profitability: Implement strategies to significantly boost website traffic, conversion rates, and overall profitability, focusing on data-driven improvements and customer experience.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies and content: Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing content and eCommerce strategies aimed at driving revenue growth, setting short-term and long-term KPIs for sustainable success.
- Lead SEO/SEM campaigns: Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of SEO and SEM initiatives to improve visibility and rankings across major search engines, increasing organic and paid search performance.
- Manage advertising budgets for ROI maximization: Oversee the budgeting and execution of Pay Per Click (PPC) and online advertising campaigns, ensuring effective allocation to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Project Management of key deliverables: Ability to take ownership and see projects through completion. Understanding of project management language and skills.
- Optimize creative messaging strategies: Continuously refine PPC creative messaging through A/B testing of ad content, imagery, offers, landing pages, and audience segments to improve click-through rates and conversions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with Communications, Design, and Marketing teams to produce compelling assets and content that align with campaign objectives and brand voice.
- Analyze performance and provide actionable insights: Utilize data and analytics tools to measure campaign performance, traffic, and customer behavior, offering insights for continuous improvement.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and leveraging internal/external resources with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven success in scaling and optimizing eCommerce platforms and driving revenue growth.
- Data-driven decision making: Ability to measure, analyze, and manage eCommerce performance and marketing programs using key metrics.
- Expertise in digital marketing analytics: Ability to analyze campaigns, social media, and digital efforts, providing actionable insights.
- Strong copywriting skills: Experience creating compelling content for product descriptions, email marketing, and web content.
- 5+ years of B2B eCommerce experience with demonstrated success in managing complex operations.
- Proficiency in SEO and web optimization: Experience with on-page SEO (title tags, meta descriptions, headers).
- Experience with email marketing and automation tools: Familiarity with best practices, especially in B2B or retail spaces.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating or editing digital assets.
- Maintain seamless user experiences across multiple devices: Ensure consistency across desktop, mobile, tablet, and app platforms.
- CMS and PIM platforms, ERP systems, SEO/SEM Tools like SEMRush, Google Analytics, Adobe creative suite, canva, etc
- Understanding of project management tool, like Monday.com or Smartsheet
- Microsoft Suite
We are looking for an experienced, in-house Strategic eCommerce Manager to lead the growth of customer acquisition and online sales within a growing and dynamic business. fastener, c-class components, and MRO markets. This role will oversee the development and ongoing management of the website and eCommerce platform, ensuring it meets customer needs and business goals. Responsibilities include driving online sales strategies, managing feature prioritization, enhancing user experience, and working closely and managing 3rd party developers, content managers, and stakeholders to optimize platform performance. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, focusing on both revenue growth and long-term customer engagement.
