      In this interim role, within the newly created Economic Crime Analysis and Response team, you’ll be the subject matter expert providing an Economic Crime lens across Line 1 and central functions.

      You'll work with teams across Economic Crime, Retail, Cater Allen and Corporate Banking to help ensure we reach the correct outcomes while ensuring that customers are satisfied.

      You’ll be working to help the Bank and colleagues respond to regulatory information requests in relation to Financial Crime, as well as the analysis and presentation of information, stemming from internal requests. The Analysis and Response team also work to provide a risk lens to heightened risk cases, ensuring appropriate guidance is provided and that effective controls are in place.

      • Acting as primary point of contact ensuring management and co-ordination of Financial Crime and/or multi-dept requests, in particular those originating from regulatory bodies and those requested internally

      • Acting as point of contract for escalations and co-ordination of risk related events

      • Providing recommendations regarding Advisory matters related to regulatory driven projects, or internal investigations

      • Engaging with stakeholders to promote financial crime awareness and understanding as well as helping to develop appropriate controls

      • Providing technical and complex Financial Crime guidance

      • Working with colleagues to fulfil information requests from regulatory bodies or internal leadership


      What you’ll bring.

      • Subject matter expertise across a broad section of Financial Crime

      • Sanctions risk management subject matter expert knowledge

      It would also be nice for you to have.

      • Track record of developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders

      • Previous Financial Crime advisory experience in AML/CTF

      • Previous experience of dealing with regulatory driven information requests

      • Demonstrable experience of checking and challenging FC Controls

      Our preferred location for this 24-month FTC is Milton Keynes and current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of Glasgow, Bradford or Sheffield.
