What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the management of stakeholder initiative processes related to market design, infrastructure planning, and generation interconnection
- Perform economic and engineering analysis of market design rules and participate in market development efforts
- Design and develop statistical metrics to monitor changes in the electricity market
- Prepare and analyze data queries, reports, and presentations to support special studies and board meetings
- Conduct mathematical and engineering analysis of market software and power systems applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate, Master's degree (MS), or PhD program in Economics or related field
- Graduating December 2024 or later
- Previous internships, research, or work experience using economic analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Good presentation, oral, and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Research and/or studies in the energy industry
- Strong quantitative skills
- Competence in statistical software such as R, SAS, and STATA desired but not required
