What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, and develop specifications for enhancements to electronic data interchange application interfaces
- Maintain and execute daily EDI imports, exports, conversions, encryptions, and transfers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical errors related to EDI functions
- Interface between Needs Processing, Information Technology, and Business Analytics departments
- Provide mentorship to EDI technicians and support all EDI production processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of EDI experience in a healthcare payer organization
- Proficient in EDI file formats such as 834, 270/271, 837, 276, and 278
- Strong knowledge of Batch Scripts and experience with Claims Management Software
- Knowledge of HIPAA law and ability to adhere to HIPAA standards
- Ability to solve complex problems with limited direction

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPI Certification (preferably LSS Green Belt or Agile/Scrum)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Reporting and SQL/Access Reporting
- Experience with FTP Connections and PGP encryption
- Knowledge/application of standard security protocols for electronic data transmissions
- Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
