What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, and develop specifications for enhancements to electronic data interchange application interfaces
- Maintain and execute daily EDI imports, exports, conversions, encryptions, and transfers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical errors related to EDI functions
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to support EDI production processes
- Provide mentorship to EDI technicians and advise leadership on technical aspects of future projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of EDI experience in a healthcare payer organization
- Proficient in EDI file formats including 834, 270/271, 837, 276, and 278
- Strong knowledge of Batch Scripts and experience with Claims Management Software
- Familiarity with SQL/Access Reporting and PGP encryption
- Knowledge of HIPAA law and ability to adhere to HIPAA standards

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPI Certification (Preferably LSS Green Belt or Agile/Scrum)
- Demonstrated experience with FTP Connections and Salesforce Reporting
- Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
