      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead coverage of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets
      - Edit and assign reporting on significant business stories to ensure timely and impactful journalism
      - Collaborate with other editors and teams to prioritize news coverage effectively
      - Develop and mentor journalists to enhance their reporting skills and story development
      - Identify potential major stories and oversee their conceptualization and execution

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Solid professional experience in reporting or editing business news at a major news organization
      - Proven management experience with a track record of developing journalists and securing stories
      - Strong news judgment and the ability to prioritize and delegate assignments effectively
      - Ability to make quick decisions and edit under tight deadlines
      - Existing network of dealmakers and corporate sources preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working on corporate finance stories or in a financial news environment
      - Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) topics
      - Advanced understanding of capital markets and corporate governance matters
      - Established relationships within the corporate finance community
      - Experience in a global news organization with multicultural team collaboration
