What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide editorial support for the Publisher and Associate Publisher/Editorial Director
- Evaluate manuscripts and book proposals for potential acquisition
- Assist with project acquisition processes, including managing budgets and deadlines
- Track industry trends in media and publishing to inform book development
- Write various types of copy including cover, catalog, and web copy

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Passion for pop culture, media, and entertainment
- Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Exceptional writing and copywriting skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least two years of experience at a major book publisher for Assistant Editor level consideration
