      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Compile key data on political players in New York, including finding and updating email contacts and other background information
      - Manage outreach to individuals on power lists, including gathering photos and credits
      - Gather nominations and regularly update the nomination form
      - Assist with the layout of power lists in a weekly print magazine
      - Take on higher-level research and writing tasks over time

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience entering data in, formatting, and manipulating spreadsheets
      - Attention to detail and an ability to work independently
      - Familiarity with New York politics and government is a major plus
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in an editorial or media environment
      - Understanding of data analysis and reporting
      - Interest in political journalism and media trends
