- Responsible for driving the story of all editorial content across all platforms.
- Partner with cross functional teams in Creative , Merchandising & Marketing to drive the Editorial stories across the organization focused on Social, site and Brand.
- Drive The RealReal's POV through strategic curation of stories, products,and the voice for our brand
- Help The RealReal build an innovative platform connecting customers with the unique value propositions of our business
- Key partnerships with integrated marketing strategy, merchandising editorial, and social performance
- This leader will provide inspiration and development to the team, taking our creative capabilities to a new level as the company continues to grow.
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited College or University, preferable in Merchandising, Fashion and/or Design
- 5+ years of experience in Editorial at a luxury fashion retailer or e-commerce site
- 3+ years managing a team
- Extensive knowledge and expertise from luxury to contemporary - and everything in between
- Demonstrate a point of view on product assortment & editorial content, with a strong sense of ownership over your work
- Positive, engaging attitude with our customers
- Strong sense of teamwork and a resourceful, self-starter mentality in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work hybrid from NYC, NY
- Ability to Travel 10%

The Editorial Director is responsible for creating an editorial voice for the brand that will carry through all categories, driving the story telling in site, social and all brand expressions. We're looking for someone who is passionate about luxury fashion, with a strong creative and editorial background. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy customer facing interactions, and have just the right amount of left-brain/right-brain to excel in a creative environment while achieving aggressive revenue and growth plans.

The expected salary range for this role is $171,262.90 - $214,079.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
