What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the integration of EHR systems with clinical, administrative, and financial systems within the organization
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize system downtime and workflow disruptions
- Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to design, test, and implement EHR system integrations
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
- Manage projects related to EHR system integration, ensuring deadlines and goals are met

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, Healthcare IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with EHR systems in a healthcare setting, specifically with system integration and data management
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows in opioid addiction treatment programs, including regulatory requirements and medication management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot integration issues quickly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in Health Information Management (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, or similar) or Certified Healthcare IT Specialist (CHIS)
- Experience with integration tools and middleware platforms (e.g., Mirth, Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody)
- Familiarity with electronic prescribing, laboratory interface standards, and pharmacy systems
- Experience with project management methodologies such as agile or waterfall
- Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and patient management tools
