What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage EHR system configurations related to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to ensure smooth integration between clinical documentation and billing systems
- Support the generation of clean claims and resolve any transmission issues with the RCM team
- Analyze payment responses and investigate billing issues, including following up on unpaid claims
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and finance teams to ensure compliance with payer requirements and regulatory standards
- Create training resources and lead training sessions for revenue cycle department trainers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with EHR systems in a healthcare environment, specifically in Revenue Cycle Management
- In-depth knowledge of claims generation, payor and provider setup, and payment processing
- Strong understanding of opioid treatment programs and their unique billing needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in Health Information Management (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, or CCS)
- Experience with opioid treatment center billing and Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement models
- Familiarity with electronic billing software and EDI processes
