      KenCrest Educational Program Coordinator

      Full Time, Monday through Friday, standard school hours

      Kencrest is seeking an Educational Program Coordinator to support our Star 4 Early Childhood Programs through the Philadelphia, PA (seven locations available throughout the city!).

      As an Educational Program Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting the quality of all educational practices, with a particular focus on trauma informed care, literacy, inclusion and fidelity of implementation of the curriculum. Supporting teachers in their adherence to high quality practices (NAEYC, HighScope, PA Keys, etc) is a key component of this position. Coaching and technical assistance are primary early learning models for providing support.

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
      • 5 years of experience working with young children and their families
      • Commute from location to location for periods of up to 1 hour, occasionally required to commute for periods of up to 3 hours or more.
      • Ability to communicate effectively, develop teams, work collaboratively with a wide range of team members.
      • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
      • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children
      • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
      • Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
