NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated Electrical Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include the development of ruggedized, high-performance test equipment that will support US Army rocket and missile systems. Job responsibilities include electronics design and fabrication, systems engineering, and hardware/software integration. This position supports the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in missile and aviation system research and development.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

0 to 3 years of experience

Required:

Experience integrating hardware and software in complex systems
Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
Independent and self-motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker
A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel (~10%)

Desired:

Systems engineering experience
Experience with Python
Experience with software and firmware development
Experience with source code version control tools and issue management systems
Knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) or Microcontrollers
Experience with real-time OSes and Linux
Experience with electronics design and fabrication
Experience with configuration management of engineering drawings and revisions

Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
