What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct investigations and analyses in the field of electrical engineering to resolve claims and legal matters
- Determine the cause and origin of electrical system defects and equipment failures through field investigations
- Prepare detailed oral and written reports documenting findings, causes of failure, and recommended remediation
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate with other experts to ensure timely report production
- Gather photographic evidence, oversee field testing, and document conditions using various technical tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- P.E. License is required
- 2-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with field experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-assisted engineering software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional licenses or certifications relevant to the role
- Experience in providing expert testimony in litigation matters
- Familiarity with land use laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction
