What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in Inside Plant optical engineering design and network connections for various equipment in electrical substation environments
- Create detailed and accurate designs for fiber optic paths and network communications using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with clients/customers to define project requirements and scope
- Coordinate with engineering representatives to design communication building compound layouts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations in all work activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess strong organizational skills and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with AutoCAD for creating engineering designs
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Direct experience in fiber system optical and route design
- Proven integrity and professionalism in client interactions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in telecommunications or electrical engineering
- Familiarity with AdTran, Xtran, SEL RTAC, and SEL Axion equipment
- Knowledge of telecommunications building specifications and requirements
