      General Job Description

      IES Residential is currently seeking Electrician Helpers - Installation and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Little to no experience is ok. We will train you!

      • Measures, cuts, and bends wire using hand tools
      • Drills holes for wiring, using power drill, and pulls or pushes wiring through opening
      • Assist with installation and repair of outlets, lights, fixtures, and switches
      • Carry, hold, and position materials required to complete the project
      • Maintain tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order
      • Communicate with others and take direction given by leadership
      • Promptly reports unsafe conditions to responsible person

      • High School diploma or GED
      • Valid Driver’s License
      • Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
      • Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
      • Ability to travel to job sites
