      The Project

      The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

      The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

      The Role

      We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the T2D project in Adelaide. This role involves coordinating on-site engineering and procurement activities for electrical and M&E services, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee subcontractors, support installation and commissioning, implement site safety, quality, and environmental controls, and proactively manage project risks.

      Responsibilities

      • Monitor the progress of subcontractor’s procurement and delivery of the works
      • Lead Site Engineers and graduate engineers to successfully deliver the M&E services works of the Project
      • Manage the successful delivery of the Electrical and other M&E work components of the Project from Procurement tender phase through to Handover
      • Procurement of subcontracts and supply items – assistance with ITT (Invitation to Tender), evaluation, clarifications and RTA (Recommendation to Award)
      • Subcontractors & suppliers – management of deliverables, general administration of work under execution and general reporting as required
      • Subcontractor and supplier payment claims – checking, assessment & processing in accordance with T2D procedures
      • Adherence to Project Scope and Technical Requirements

      About You

      • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
      • 5 years of experience in electrical engineering field, preferably in Low Voltage distribution.
      • Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including design, procurement, and construction.
      • Good understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AS, NEC, IEC, IEEE).
      • Project management skills and experience on a large-scale infrastructure construction project is a plus.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
