      Job Title: Industrial Electrician


      Job Description

      We are seeking skilled and experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong working knowledge of installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical components and equipment. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential services to maintain our operations.

      Responsibilities

      • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment such as lighting, electrical protective devices, motors, inverters, soft starts, and wye-delta systems.
      • Work with hard-wired and Ethernet-based control systems.
      • Interpret and work with schematics and mathematical calculations.
      • Employ preventive and predictive technologies to ensure system reliability.
      • Demonstrate basic computer literacy and adhere to safe electrical test and measurement practices.
      • Perform calibration and documentation of functions related to flow measurement, level measurement, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation.
      • Troubleshoot process control loops using specialized testing equipment.
      • Terminate motor starters, control, and power wires, and install raceway (conduit) and cable trays in an industrial setting.
      • Install wire through raceway and cable trays, ensuring compliance with NECA 101 standards.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance.
      • Knowledge of lighting systems, electrical protective devices, motors, inverters, and soft starts.
      • Ability to interpret schematics and perform mathematical calculations.
      • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance technologies.
      • Basic computer literacy.
      • Safe electrical test and measurement practices.
      • Calibration and documentation skills for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation.
      • Troubleshooting process control loops.
      • Experience with terminating motor starters and installing raceway and cable trays.
      • Adherence to NECA 101 standards.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with instrumentation.
      • Knowledge of blueprint and schematic diagrams.

      Work Environment

      The work environment is not climate controlled, so expect hot conditions in the summer and cold conditions in the winter. You will also be working outdoors 20% of the time. The standard schedule is the first shift, with four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Candidates must have steel toe boots.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, Nebraska.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.22/hr.
