- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Use basic tools such as multi-meters, pipe benders, hand tools, etc.
- Understand and exercise the required safety precautions necessary to complete the job.
- Complete the assigned task in a timely and professional manner.

Work Environment
The current opening is on the 2nd shift, with hours roughly from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday, with plenty of overtime available after normal shift hours and on weekends. The role is based in a manufacturing plant for parking garages, with both indoor and outdoor setups. You will be part of a shop with roughly 20 people.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Park, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
