Allstates Consulting Services has an opening for an experienced licensed Journeyman Electrician in the San Marcos Texas market. (you do not need to live in the market, but would like a candidate to live within 2 hours of San Marcos.) We also need a helper / Apprentice electrician, so if you have your own helper you can bring them.

This is a travel position with travel to other states. Travel is a must and is not negotiable. Must be willing to be away from home for up to 6 weeks or so at a time. You must be willing to work as much and as long as the company needs you to work. If your away from home for 6 weeks or longer the company may allow 5 to 7 days off before going back out. Time off is up to the discretion of the manager and workload. There is no guarantee of work hours or length of time on the road. 55 to 65 hours a week is average but no guarantee.

Job Summary
The Electrician will be part of a 2 person crew installing Generator sets at telecom sites. This will involve running all electrical cable, setting and installing associated controls, testing and turn up. The electrician will have 5+ years installing electrical components in commercial, industrial or residential environments. Must be able to do work without supervision and posses an electrical license in the state applying for, be eligible for such license or posses a electrical contractors license.
(Pay Range is $30 to $40 an hour DOE and license)

Company will pay $125 a day Per-diem to cover Meals and Hotel. Company will provide vehicles, trailers, testing equipment and large tools need for the job. Tech is responsible for personal hand tools.

As an Electrician:

• Have an UpToDate resume listing out your electrical experience.
• If you have a license please list that on your resume.
• Possess a good work ethic.
• Be 100% Safety minded.
• Possess your OSHA 10 Certification.
• We will provide CPR/First Aid and RF Safety certifications.
• Be willing to travel 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
• Must be computer literate and able to communicate effectively.
