What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating through the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Coordinate information gathering and workflow observations
- Document workflows using flowchart format and evaluate proposed solutions
- Produce various documentation related to workflows, designs, and testing plans
- Conduct training classes in virtual or in-person settings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Completion of Epic Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Resolute PB, Charge Router, or outpatient specialty module
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to provide 24x7x365 support and participate in on-call rotation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience as an EHR system implementation specialist
- Experience in system upgrades, patches, and monitoring
- Knowledge of information security best practices
- Familiarity with integration and technical requirements of peripherals and devices
- Participation in vendor review and selection processes
