What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the electronic medical record (EMR) systems agency-wide, ensuring compliance with state and agency regulations
- Manage all aspects of EMR software development, including customization, reporting, and system monitoring
- Conduct quality control audits to ensure the accuracy and proper usage of systems
- Provide technical support to users regarding software concerns and system functionalities
- Lead the rollout of any new EMR implementations or expansions within the agency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Data Analytics, or related field with 1 year of relevant work experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare, or related field with 2 years of experience managing electronic systems; OR
- High school diploma with 3 years of experience managing electronic systems
- Administrator certification (or equivalent) in each EMR system utilized by the agency
- General knowledge of child and family programs is desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge and training in electronic records databases is preferred
