- Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies
- Conduct basic inspections with reference to IPC standards
- Troubleshoot and repair PC boards to the component level
- Identify root cause problems and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with test engineers and present findings to groups
- Maintain an organized approach to job duties with attention to detail
- Ensure quality of both products and job performance
- Learn new skills and assume new responsibilities as needed
- Work cooperatively in a team environment
- Minimum of four years of experience in electronic testing
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Strong component level troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics
- Familiarity with modern test equipment
- Ability to perform functional testing and troubleshooting of microprocessor-based instruments
- Strong writing and speaking skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Two-year electronic technology associate degree
- Minimum of two years of manufacturing test/test development experience
- Basic inspection skills with reference to IPC standards
- Good presentation skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and hard-working
Job Title: Electronic Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Test Technician with a strong background in electronic testing and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in electronic testing and familiarity with modern testing equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of both analog and digital electronics, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to identify and correct issues at the component level.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production environment where you will work closely with 8-10 team members. The dress code is casual, including jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. A smock and ESD heel strap will be provided to ensure safety and adherence to ESD protocols.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
