      Note: This job is a full-time, in-person position based out of our Brooklyn office. This is NOT a remote position.

      Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

      Job Summary: As an Eligibility Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that clients meet the eligibility requirements for home care services. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to develop skills in healthcare administration while working with a supportive team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer use, especially Excel, and be capable of managing client data effectively.

      Job responsibilities

      • Verify and review client eligibility for home care services through various systems and databases.

      • Process and maintain client documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.

      • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary paperwork and eligibility requirements are met.

      • Assist with data entry, updating client records, and tracking eligibility statuses in Excel.

      • Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare providers to gather required information.

      • Resolve eligibility-related inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or some college coursework is a plus).

      • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

      • Previous experience in an office setting or customer service is a plus, but not required.

      • Excellent communication skills.

      • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and other related software.

      • Ability to work well within a team, sharing information and supporting colleagues as needed.

      • Ability to work with spreadsheets, manage large amounts of data, and use basic functions (e.g., formulas, sorting, filtering).

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

      • Ability to prioritize tasks; excellent time management skills.

      • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
