Introduction:This role spans across leading / working on multiple projects or modules and coordinating with teams to understand and support the test requirements and implement and maintain them.
What will you be doing?
Elasticsearch in payment landscape is used for monitoring payments flowing through various critical payment applications within payment landscape. The ELK Sr developer role leverages in-depth knowledge of ELK to advise stakeholders of Elasticsearch capabilities, design and develop ELK based monitoring solutions, manage appropriate infrastructure changes/uplifts, ensure successful service introduction, and provide SME support for deployed solutions/ELK apps.

• Minimum qualification like BE, BCA, BTech or any other technical qualificationSkills that will help you in the role:
• Familiar with various logstash use cases, experience with use of different plugins for inputs, filters, outputs.
• Familiar with Elasticsearch query DSL, ideally has experience with use of aggregations and scripting in more complex Elasticsearch queries
• Familiar with Kibana out-of-the -box visualization functionality, has built dashboards for different use cases
• Familiar with use of filebeat and metricbeat and/or elastic agent
• Awareness of alerting use cases (using watcher and/or kibana alerts)
• Awareness of role based access models in Kibana
• Awareness of Elastic APIs e.g. search, bulk, index, security APIs.
• Awareness of ELK stack architecture and administration (e.g. index lifecycle management using templates and ILM policies, concepts like shards and replicas for optimising resiliency and performance of Elasticsearch clusters)
• Experience with DevOps tools (use of version control e.g. git, some awareness of build orchestration tools e.g. Jenkins and package repos e.g. Nexus)
• Basic SQL querying knowledge
• Experience with more advanced ELK use cases e.g. watchers with custom scripting and actions, more complex logstash pipelines (perhaps including pipeline chaining), more advanced custom visualizations in Kibana e.g. canvas, vega.
• Experience with other similar tools to ELK stack e.g. Splunk
• Experience with scripting languages for automation e.g. Bash, Python
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with technically leading feature team to deliver projects scope as part of sprint cycles.
• Has worked directly with end users on initial stages of projects such as requirements gathering and impact assessment.
