An Enrollment Representative proactively contacts and/or responds to inquiries from potential students to discuss their education goals and provide information about University of Phoenix’s ability to help them fulfill their education goals. An individual advises undergraduate and graduate students about enrollment and degree completion requirements and plays an integral role in onboarding the student for success from application through completion of their first class.
In addition, an Enrollment Representative coordinates with the University’s financial aid, transcript and admissions, and academic counseling teams to assure that students encounter streamlined and user-friendly processes throughout their application and enrollment processes through their continued matriculation.

What You’ll Do:
1. Spend at least ninety-five percent (95%) of every shift making or receiving telephone calls and/or other communication channels to interact with a high volume of potential students to discover the educational interests of prospective students, search applicable database(s) and other resources to provide information to help them make an informed decision on program offerings and University fit. Advise potential and/or current students regarding enrollment, transferability, and applicability of previous college credits earned, degree program options, degree program requirements, cost of attendance, and provide information on University policies, practices, and rules.
2. Consistently strive to complete daily tasks, demonstrate schedule adherence and required availability, all while adhering to and maintaining compliance with applicable University policies and procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.
3. Proactively identify potential obstacles to a student’s ability to pursue their educational goals and effectively address those potential obstacles in an effort to assist the student in resolving those issues and to ensure a positive student experience.
4. Follow up and coordinate with financial aid, transcript and admissions, as well as other necessary departments, to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely information to potential and/or current students.
5. Monitor student participation and progress during the enrollment process and through the first class to ensure students are engaged, understand requirements and in compliance with applicable University policies.
6. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior student facing role that included student advisement in higher education
• Prior customer service experience with a focus on sales/upselling
• Contact/Call Center experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and written
• Computer literate with the ability to learn proprietary software applications
• Goal-oriented and proven ability to work in a team environment or independently

The hourly pay rate range is $20.19 (minimum), $26.78 (midpoint), and $34.38 (maximum). The annualized amount, not including eligible overtime pay, is $42,000 (minimum), $55,700 (midpoint), and $71500 (maximum).**Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.Salary minimum
