Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater seeks a seasonal, part-time Email Marketing Assistant to work on email campaigns for its 2018 New York City Center season and year-end fundraising efforts. The Email Marketing Assistant will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and will support the production of email blasts and newsletters. The employment period will run from approximately Oct 9, 2018 through Jan 4, 2019.

Schedule:

Part-time Mon-Fri

7 hours/week for the month of October

21 hours/week for Nov through the beginning of January

Responsibilities include:

Laying out email text and images using an email template

Processing email lists for import into email management system

Qualifications/Experience:

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Experience using content management systems

Attention to detail

Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

One year of previous office experience (can include internship experience)

Pluses:

Interest in email marketing

Experience working with email templates

Interest in arts and dance
