What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop reliable, high-quality software for satellite on-board systems, embedded Linux, firmware, and IoT modules
- Write thorough tests and documentation for software projects
- Participate in software design and code review processes
- Collaborate with electrical, digital design, and operations teams to identify features and solidify system architecture

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of embedded systems experience
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent degree program
- Strong skills in software design and development, including algorithms, testing, and debugging
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with embedded operating systems and build systems such as OpenEmbedded/Yocto and FreeRTOS
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively use git

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant experience with hobbies or university design teams
- Python development experience
- Strong knowledge of computer networking and modern networking protocols
- Experience with RTL (Verilog and/or VHDL) and embedded SoCs
- Hardware debugging experience using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
