      Program Overview: Lexington’s Summer Intern Program is intended to attract undergraduate and graduate college students who are studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields. You will be given the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the progress of Lexington and its products, while gaining business acumen and real-world experience which will better prepare you to continue to make impactful contributions throughout your career.


      Education: Must be currently attending an accredited university as a rising Junior or above majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.


      Location: Bedford, Massachusetts


      Experience: No experience required. Engineering or manufacturing experience preferred.

      Responsibilities:
      • Assist in the design and development of embedded software and hardware components.
      • Write, test, and debug embedded software code in languages such as C/C++ or Python.
      • Support the development of firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded devices.
      • Participate in hardware-software integration and testing activities.
      • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
      • Document code, processes, and testing results to ensure clear communication and project continuity.
      • Contribute to project meetings and provide updates on progress.
