Salary: £56,000 + dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
· In this role you will drive change and be an advocate for our employee experience. You will influence the organisation to enhance our employee experience, thereby increasing levels of engagement and performance
· As a subject matter expert on Employee Experience Design, coach, develop and inspire leaders of projects and change, to ensure the company’s employee experience proposition and our employee’s expectations are understood, prioritised and delivered
· Support the development, and drive the implementation of, a best practice and comprehensive employee experience design methodology, to build a benchmark internal employee experience capability
· Proactively and effectively work with colleagues in HR and stakeholders across the wider BAE Systems enterprise, to ensure solutions (e.g. policies, processes, system changes) are developed in line with our employee experience proposition and our employee’s expectations
· Use employee voice and insights data to identify and prioritise gaps in our employee experience. Share the data and collaborate with stakeholders to inspire improvement projects that will deliver our employee experience proposition, in line with business needs
· Work collaboratively with HR and Communications to enhance and promote existing solutions to support maximum usage & buy-in
Your skills and experiences:
· Proven track record of delivery and problem solving abilities, particularly in an ambiguous or complex situation
· Knowledge of employee experience, user experience and/or employee engagement
· Experience of driving business change
· Strong experience of managing and influencing multiple stakeholders with a range of different needs
· Ability to manage and prioritise conflicting deadlines
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Great collaboration skills and experience of working across different teams and/or networks
· Ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels of the business
· Behaviours of adaptability and courage will be essential

The Employee Experience team:
The Employee Experience Design Lead role sits within the BAE Systems Head Office Group HR function. The role reports into the Head of Employee Experience and will often be integrated with and/or working alongside a project delivery team. For example, BAE Systems is embarking on an exciting journey to transform our HR services – putting the employee experience at the heart of everything we do. This modernisation includes the redesign of our policies, processes and the implementation of a modern, dynamic people information system across all our markets (excluding Inc). Each element of this change will need close employee experience support. Hence, the successful candidate will be working with a number of key stakeholders at all levels across the business. This is a newly created role which would suit an individual passionate about delivering change and improvement, particularly in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment.
