What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns
- Provide counsel and guidance to managers and employees on company policies and procedures
- Conduct internal investigations and document findings
- Manage employee relations matters with a focus on consistency, fairness, and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with employment laws
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, with three (3) years in employee/labor relations
- At least two (2) years of experience in an OCONUS contracting environment in Human Resources
- Proficiency in EEO guidelines and standard Human Resources policies/practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PHR certification preferred
- Strong client/customer focus with a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential materials and employee files
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting disciplinary and performance-related correspondence
- Proven ability to influence and coach employees and management through complex issues
