      St. Catherine University and the Career Development team invite applications for the Employer Partnership Strategist role.

      The Career and Professional Development office’s goal is to support student career success! The Employer Partnership Strategist implement effective communication to students, staff, faculty, alumni, and employers through a variety of marketing and outreach tools. To help implement an employer strategy through building and maintaining employer partnerships with the goal of increasing career-related opportunities for St. Catherine University students.

      Career Development Event Planning & Logistics (30%)
      • Schedule and coordinate career development events including:
        • Recruiting visits
        • On-campus career fairs
        • Information tables/sessions
        • Consortia career fairs and other events
      • Provide excellent customer service to employers, campus partners, and students
      • Collaborate with campus partners to deliver career development content at other events to meet student needs
      Employer Partnership Operations (30%)
      • Develop and implement protocols to build and maintain relationships with employers
      • Consult with current/prospective employer partners to develop solutions that enhance career opportunities for students meet employer needs
      • Maintain complete, accurate employer contact information and record of employer engagement
      • Develop protocols to manage the collection, assessment, and evaluation of employer data and trends.
      Promotions and Marketing (20%)
      • Create and distribute department newsletters, reports
      • Update and maintain department website and social media sites with blogs, articles, or event announcements
      • Develop and manage email campaigns for students, faculty/staff, employers and other stakeholders
      Student Employment Communications, Technology, & Support (20%)
      • Ensure effective operation of Handshake and other online platforms for student-employer connections
      • Manage career development systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting on utilization of these tools
      • Approve jobs, internships, and events posted in Handshake
      • Respond to questions and inquiries received by phone/email
      • Manage three departmental email accounts
