      Starting Compensation:

      25.00 to 28.00 USD Per Hour

      Working Location:

      Virtual Remote

      Working Hours/Shift:

      Monday - Friday (7:30AM - 4:00PM)

      What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications) :

      • High School Diploma required.
      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
      • Experience using electronic medical records systems or comparable required.
      • Two (2) years’ experience in quality assurance or two (2) years of direct treatment services delivery in mental health is preferred.
      • Previous helpdesk end-user support experience preferred.
      • A valid California Driver's License is required.

      How you will make a difference (Job Overview):

      The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Specialist plays a pivotal role at SBHG by overseeing the EMR help ticket system. They demonstrate expertise in identifying, researching, and resolving both workflow and technical issues independently and collaboratively. Managing support tickets aligns with departmental procedures, and the specialist actively contributes to planning and implementing EMR system enhancements and other projects. User account management and effective communication with the software vendor and IT Department are crucial aspects of their responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations and timely issue resolution. Additionally, the specialist leads meetings, coordinates activities, and contributes to developing EMR training materials and user guides. Their commitment to staying current with technical skills through training and webinars reflects a dedication to excellence. This role may require work outside regular business hours and presents opportunities for remote work based on department and company needs.


      Division/Program Overview:
      The EMR specialist is responsible for developing, organizing, and editing health record documentation and clinical records, ensuring data integrity and secure protection.
