What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer all incoming calls to the Regional Telephonic Medicine Center (RTMC) and perform intake and triage of information
- Coordinate emergency department transfers, inpatient bed placements, and ambulance transport
- Document patient transfers, referrals, critical labs, and urgent appointments according to protocols
- Participate in internal quality assurance activities, insurance verification, chart reviews, and data entry
- Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, hospital operations, and community services

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in Oregon or SW Washington at the time of application
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in data entry and documentation processes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with telephonic medicine or patient coordination
- Familiarity with emergency transport resources and hospital operations
