What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive the sales process from initiation to closure, targeting education and local government sectors
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Educate decision-makers on Guaranteed Savings Contracts and financial solutions
- Lead the solution development team and maintain executive-level relationships
- Utilize CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and update activities consistently
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESCO sales
- Proven knowledge of proactive prospecting at the financial decision-making level
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills, along with proficient presentation abilities
- Understanding of financial statements and operating budgets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience presenting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to clients
- Exceptional writing skills for producing persuasive proposals for RFPs and RFQs
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
