What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and implementation of transmission and distribution infrastructure projects
- Engage in power sector master planning, integrated resource and resilience planning, and system modeling and analyses
- Perform demand forecasting, renewable energy generation forecasting, and manage system operations including scheduling and dispatch
- Oversee electric utility management, modernization, and performance improvement initiatives
- Manage donor-funded power sector infrastructure programs and projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
- At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more relevant areas
- Experience managing energy projects funded by donors, developers, or other commercial entities
- Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with professional fluency in French and English

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
- Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organizations
- Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracting
