- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in an engineering or technical discipline with at least two (2) years of related experience, or the overall equivalent.
- Requires a solid understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and principles.
- Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong background in problem solving techniques and analysis (A3, DMAIC, etc).
- Proficiency in standard and industry related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to support 3rd Shift.
- ASQ certification.
- Experience working in a quality program in support of government contracts, preferably DoD.
- Formal training in root cause analysis.
- Experience implementing APQP in a low-rate, technically complex product environment.
- Experience with TipQA software.
- Experience with Testing and Application of Chemical Agent Resistance Coatings.
