Job Description
DUTIES: Test and implement new and innovative software solutions, principles, processes, and applications; perform testing integration, including identifying, reproducing, and documenting defects; prepare automation test plans and strategies for Data Driven Framework; deploy manual and automated testing solutions using Java, Maven, TestNG, Candela, Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Putty, and Git Bash; develop Kibana infrastructure; developing custom dashboards using Python; work with Splunk, Grafana, and Confluence; use Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Voice-over IP (VoIP), and IP routing; define, document, and communicate test and certification results; perform front-end web design and development using REST, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS; use MongoDB to store data; develop web servers using Python Flask; develop data models using JavaScript and MySQL; analyze product, architecture and engineering inputs to drive the project by developing test plans that satisfy technical requirements addressing management, scalability, performance, and redundancy; support product functionality testing and enable effective test planning and execution; develop and deploy test strategies and methodologies for telecommunication products; drive vendor excellence and operational support; assess and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades; define, document, and communicate test and certification results; plan, develop, complete and maintain automation test scripts, utilities, data sets that demonstrate commercial and/or open-source tools; interact with cross-functional teams to understand the product requirements; work closely within a dynamic team to quickly adapt to requirements with understanding of partners, product and solutions; troubleshooting packet traces, utilizing monitoring tools and other specific troubleshooting tools; and work with VoIP monitoring platforms including Ngenius, Netscout, or other similar applications. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience performing testing integration, including identifying, reproducing, and documenting defects; deploying manual testing solutions using JIRA, TestRail, Putty, and Git Bash; working with Splunk, Grafana, and Confluence; of which one (1) year of experience includes preparing automation test plans and strategies for Data Driven Framework; deploying automated testing solutions; and using Java, Maven, TestNG, Candela, and Selenium.
