We are now looking for 3 Engineering Apprentices to join our Maintenance department for a fixed-term four-year apprenticeship program. The positions will be based on our Caledonian Paper Mill in Irvine, Ayrshire.

What you will do

Our Maintenance Department has an important role in maintaining and developing our plant and equipment to the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Currently, we have opportunities for Engineering Apprentices to develop through the Modern Apprenticeship route, with the potential to take higher technical qualifications. I n this position you will:

· Have an integral part in maintaining and developing our plant and equipment to the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency and safety

· Maintain and develop our production line and power station safely and in accordance with specifications, schedules, safety targets, and quality standards

· Troubleshoot engineering problems pertaining to equipment, machines, and design

Who you are

· You are eager to learn the skills to be able to contribute to the success of Caledonian Paper

· You have achieved or are expecting to achieve in 2024 three National 5s or above (grades A to C) in Math's and English, either a Science (Physics preferred) or Technical subject or if you are attending college to do a pre apprenticeship course in engineering.

· You are confident with using computers

· You are interested in developing a career in engineering
