      We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Senior Manager to lead the Processors and Displays (P&D) Team in delivering innovative solutions across multiple Lines of Business.       The P&D Senior Manager will be responsible for leading all facets of the Engineering Hardware team. This exciting position is within the Combat Systems Hardware Directorate, located in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead a highly skilled team on the development and integration of P&D hardware supporting the F16, F22, F35, AMMM and Advanced Development Product (ADP) platforms. You will be responsible for coordinating across multiple sites that include Ft. Worth, TX, Marietta, GA and Palmdale, CA. The candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all activities related development, production, and sustainment across programs, staffing, training, and development of those on the P&D Hardware team. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with previous skills and experience managing similar groups of multi-function engineers. The candidate must have a good understanding of avionic system development and understand cost and schedule drivers for program execution while driving innovative and creative solutions. You will work closely with personnel at all sites and multiple suppliers.

      Your Responsibilities
      • Work force management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations) and personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions)
      • Lead a team of leaders to manage a functional competency within LM Aeronautics Engineering & Technology to include oversight and responsibility for budget, technical execution, staffing, processes and tools.
      • Manage your team’s complex technical projects, practice effective project management problem resolution and risk management techniques.
      • Collaboration with ADP Programs, Aeronautics Programs, other Business Units, and Industry. The successful candidate will be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive.
      • Follow Lockheed Martin’s Performance review process by setting clear expectations, providing/receiving focused feedback, performing salary

      Travel is required with on average 1 trip per quarter.

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

      National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
